There is not normally a need for learners to attend College other than for an interview and initial assessment. Supporting your Children with Primary School Maths

This is a tailored, 12 hour, online courses, in maths for parents of children in primary schools, covering topics included in the KS2 SAT tests and will allow you to help you children undertake homework and prepare for exams.
This course is free to parents/teaching assistants who reside in the Hertfordshire area. Online means that you can choose when you access your learning without travelling or becoming part of a class. You will have a tutor who will carry out an induction on to the course with you and they will monitor and feedback on your completed work. We would suggest that you aim to undertake 2 hours of learning a week to complete the course in 6 weeks.
This course is fully funded by the Multiply government initiative to help adults improve their skills and has been built using topics covered from the KS2 SAT papers.
To apply click on the application button and we will send you a short questionnaire to complete on how you feel about maths, and then arrange a date for an induction with your tutor. Following that you will be able to start your course.
This course can be followed by an accredited qualification which will cover all the topics undertaken in primary school. On completion of the course, you will receive a certificate which can be used for CPD purposes, if you work in a school.
This is a roll on roll off course so you can start at any time to suit you up until 31st March..
